Given the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan has advised domestic airlines to avoid Iranian airspace, Kazinform reports.
“Due to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, Kazakhstani airlines are advised to avoid Iranian airspace and choose alternative routes, as well as follow previously issued instructions and recommendations for flights in the relevant region,” the statement reads.
Earlier it was reported that Iran had launched missiles at Israel. In response, Israel vowed to take retaliatory action in response to the strikes on its territory by Tehran.
