Kazakh school students claimed seven awards at the First Tech Challenge robotics competition held in Indonesia’s Depok, Kazinform reports.
Four teams - Antares, 124, Zaman and Shanyraq – consisting of the students of Almaty-based School No124 and Abai Republican Secondary Boarding School and Shakarim School from Semey, represented Kazakhstan at the event.
The competition brought together more than 150 young robotics engineers.
Team 124 won the 1st place in Control Award, 3rd place in Think Award and Connect Award nominations.
Team Antares won the 2nd place in Finalist Award, 1st place in Think Award, 3rd place in Control Award.
Team Shanyrak won the 3rd place in Robot Game.
