Ambassador of Kazakhstan Azamat ABDRAIMOV met with Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Finland Kimmo KILJUNEN.
The Kazakh Ambassador informed the interlocutor about the large-scale political transformations in the country, which made it possible to ensure an optimal balance between the branches of government.
A wide range of issues related to cooperation between Kazakhstan and Finland were discussed at the meeting, including current and promising areas of cooperation in various fields. The parties paid special attention to strengthening inter-parliamentary ties, considering possible steps to further deepen partnership and develop dialogue between the parliaments of the two countries. The Kazakh diplomat noted that the support of active inter-parliamentary cooperation will allow for closer cooperation, opening up new opportunities for discussing key issues on the bilateral agenda.
