Austrian politicians, diplomats, representatives of business community, mass media, public and cultural organizations, as well as compatriots living in Austria attended the concert
On the threshold of the Republic Day celebrated in Kazakhstan on October 25, the leading national folklore and ethnographic ensemble Sazgen Sazy gave a gala concert in MuTh, one of the famous concert halls of Vienna, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The programme of the concert included works by Abai, Nurgissa Tlendiyev, Latif Hamidi, Johann Strauss, Giacomo Puccini and others, accompanied by Kazakh instruments such as kyl-kobyz, sybyzgy, dangyra, sherter and sazsyrnai.
Austrian politicians, diplomats, representatives of business community, mass media, public and cultural organizations, as well as compatriots living in Austria attended the concert.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Austria Mukhtar Tileuberdi welcomed the guests and noted the importance of further development of the Kazakh-Austrian relations in various fields, including the cultural and humanitarian ties.
Gerhard Sailler, Head of Department of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, former Ambassador of Austria to Kazakhstan, also delivered a congratulatory speech. He noted Kazakhstan's leading role in Austria's relations with the Central Asian region and the importance of cultural diplomacy in building close friendship between our nations.
