There significant agreements were reached regarding the promotion of judo in Kazakhstan
The World Judo Championships is scheduled to take place in Kazakhstan in 2027, Kazinform News Agency has learned from the Kazakh Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
“During the visit to Budapest, a meeting was held with President of the International Judo Federation (IJF), Marius VIZER. There significant agreements were reached regarding the promotion of judo in Kazakhstan.
It was agreed that the World Judo Championships will take place in 2027 in Kazakhstan. This is not only a significant honor for the country, but also an invaluable opportunity for Kazakhstani athletes to demonstrate their abilities and reinforce their standing ahead of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Additionally, an agreement was reached to establish a representative office of the Academy of the International Judo Federation in Kazakhstan.
“I am sure that the initiative would have a substantial impact on the professional development of athletes and coaching staff,” Minister of Tourism and Sports, Yerbol MYRZABOSSYNOV, posted on Telegram.
