The floods in Kazakhstan this year represent the largest natural disaster the country has faced in the past 80 years
Flood relief donation from Dimash KUDAIBERGENOV's Malaysian Dears community to the people of Kazakhstan affected by the devastating floods was dispatched from Almaty airport on April, 18, DKNews.kz reports.
Dimash's fans initiated donation drive for warm clothes, jackets and essential items weighing a total weight of 40 kg. These contributions were donated to the Red Crescent Society of Kazakhstan. The transportation of thor relief cargo was sponsored by AirAsia X, which recently inaugurated direct flights between Kazakhstan and Malaysia last month.
The floods in Kazakhstan this year represent the largest natural disaster the country has faced in the past 80 years. Beginning at the end of March, the floods have impacted 10 out of Kazakhstan's 17 regions, covering an area comparable to half the size of Europe.
