
The flights will be operated twice a week
Kazakhstan’s low-cost airlines FlyArystan is set to launch a regular direct flight from Karaganda to Istanbul from June 4, Kazinform reports citing the local akimat.
The flights will be operated twice a week – on Wednesday and Friday.
According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karaganda Airport Yerlan Ospanov, the population of Karaganda agglomeration numbers 870,000 residents. The agglomeration includes more than 30 towns and villages concentrated around the regional center.
“The airport of Karaganda holds the status of international one. This means that through the partnership with carriers, it can connect us with the key hubs, such as Istanbul, Dubai, Beijing, and Shanghai,” he noted.
The tickets are already available on the official website of FlyArystan, mobile app and other resources.
