An archeological open-air park Gorodische Kultobe (Kultobe ancient settlement) under construction in Turkistan is called to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan. UNESCO international experts contribute to the project’s development stages, Kazinform News Agency cites the regional akimat (administration).
Governor Darkhan SATYBALDY met with heads of architecture, tourism and culture departments to discuss the construction of modern tourist sites near the ancient settlement and displaying of the Kangly epoch monuments and artifacts.

The governor said this tourist site should become attractive for both adults and children. He instructed to continue the development of the project in cooperation with historians and archeologists.

Besides, there will be build a site to offer 3D interactive presentations to let people go back in time using modern digital technologies. It will be lit at night and be decorated with ornaments. Information about Kangly epoch, Yassawi, Kazakh Khanate and other landmark centuries will be presented in variety of ways to show the world the history of Kazakhstan. It will also tell about the archeological artifacts unearthed in this area and present works featuring Kazakh culture and crafts.
